Thanks. At several of the Florida birding "hot spots" it is really easy to get good images of herons and egrets. The image below might be the same LGH in stalk mode, although the background leaves are different, so it might have been a different individual somewhere else along the boardwalk.

the "circles" are actually reflections from water from an unseen fountain/pump in the pond

sometimes, it can be hard to see the animal in front of you when you are actually there as these photos clearly show
