The first bushbaby I have seen fairly unobstructed. Hard to get the exposure right with those spotlight thingies - and the dynamic range isn't stellar at ISO 18,000.

I agree. Sometimes birds with more uniform color, rather than carnival multi-color, have an elegant look. The demoiselle crane I posted earlier has that look. It's a more understated beauty.

Lucky you! All my sightings have been of them jumping from branch to branch.

Maybe it's the "white sheep of the family" who everyone hopes won't appear at gatherings.

Colobus monkey, really handsome shaggy fellows, but they have a scowling expression. Black fur with back light from a bright sun. Not the best lighting to get both texture in the hair and an overall pleasing tonality.
