We had our first frost here today, and the Eagles got pretty active for a while at the local dam. (one good thing about the cold)

Fantastic shots of ringtail possums, ospreys, and eagles!

More common and smaller subjects here, these two I have not photos of got before last night, it was pretty dark in the woods, these are both at ISO 6400 and cropped quite a bit:

I use the 1diii a lot because of the AF. It does pretty good for only 10MP as long as you don't have to crop too much.

He was young and I am dumb enough, that i will run after a black bear into the woods if I see one..
