Some colors are so difficult to get the way you want. Maybe you get close on one computer, then on any other computer or monitor or using a projector, it's not right. During the film era, locally, we annually complained about how hard it was to capture the blue of chicory flowers, and spent time discussing how each film rendered that color, and whether some filter might meet the purpose.

Common blackbird, but only in Europe. This species SFAIK has not been introduced to NA.

That prominent eye ring on the common blackbird seems to a unique, reliable cue for identificcation.

Bumble bee on the underside of a leaf, hence the odd angle for the lighting (= flash held low)
