Red shanks in Iceland, much better IQ that the image of the white-throated bee eater I posted above. Would you believe this spot is regularly used as a perch?

Duckling, with no adults around. Too many ducklings have much the same coloration so I won't hazard a guess on the identification.

Remember the Chevy Impala commercial where the boys are playing and one tells his buddies that his dad has an Impala in the garage, and when they all clamor tot he door and peek in there is a shiny new car?

Nope, that ad is not in my memory at all. I do remember some of the ads for the Edsel, some some for Renault that involved an animated car with a couple of balloons on strings out a rear window and a selectable city/country horn tone.

Red Deer in the thick fog yesterday,

Trying a few things to see if this will print well as its a bit low contrast and noisy but I reckon it has potential.
