One of multiple versions of a favorite BIF. I've posted at least two other variations of this particular bird sailing overhead. Somehow the particular posture of this bird and the perspective makes me almost feel what it's like to soar lthrough the air.

I've also posted additional images of this shoe-billed stork in the past - at least one sharper than this. A zoo specimen, and a highly improbable bird.

Spoonbills on their nest. A beautifully colored bird, but the head & bill strike most people as slightly weird.
