Awesome pictures. I wish that some day I will be half as good as you guys! Spring is a little late here and bird migration is late also, so here are some pictures from last summer.

Here is a nesting fieldfare.

Black-throated Loon flock.

Clumsy mallard duckling

and sibling at the sunset.

All taken with my 100mm wr. I do need a longer lens

While I hate to take photos on the bird feeder, these guys just pass through each year for only a couple days, so I take what I can get. This is the first day we've seen them, and took some time today to make sure we at least documented them. According to the bird map, it shows them as being in Pennsylvania in the summer for breeding season, but they seem to migrate through here as we only see them for about 1 week a year. Going to try to get some better shots before they leave.

Nice! As much as I have been on the water so far this year I have yet to see any frogs...

Ha - well you don't have to be on the water to see these guys - there are 7 of them residing in the spring overflow this year. A bit wider view from my front porch again.

Nice one Stevi, if maybe a little rough on your garden.

I tried to capture this possum with my K5 but the AF refused ,but my IIs didn't even hesitate to lock focus. For low light it's unbelievable, previously I'd have to manually focus.
