another African Openbill Stork Anastomus lamelligerus on the hunt

Hummer photographed in Costa Rica. No idea what species (many, many in Central America). It looks quite a bit like a female ruby-throat except for the curved bill and size. Scan.

I've been lucky enough to find wildlife in various locales

and if possible when I find animals in zoos, I like to post photos which gives the appearance that the animal may have been found in nature:
