The resident Spotted Eagle Owl at Delta Park, about 12 km from where I live, and which I frequent. And why not, with residents like this.

I forget which wallaby this is. There's an easy-to-miss joey sticking its head out of the pouch.

I like that fellow - all in a fluff about something, maybe just feeling good on a sunny day.

Really long tail on this lizard.

Exchange of nest-sitting responsibility. The oyster catcher just released from the nest went into the water to drink and bathe. On the way it stretched it's wings several times, as humans will stretch their arms after sitting a bit too long.

Scarlet macaw as I think this bird is called. Popular pet and display animal in zoos and parks because of its color and intelligence. Scan

That is a handsome bird although it has that look in its eye that belies the predatory dinosaur ancestry of birds.
Two images of a doe that I've spotted twice now going through the back yard (= across the so-called wildflower garden). Shot through a double-glass thermal pane window which is destructive of IQ, although not as harsh on this shorter FL lens as on the very long telephotos.
