Blue jay. If you are unaware, these birds are extremely secretive about their nests. Really difficult to find one.

The short-beaked Echidna, Tachyglossus aculeatus, one of only two kinds of egg-laying furry animals, the other being the Platypus (and yes I'm lumping all the species of Echidnas as one "kind" of animal).

An Olive-backed Oriole. These birds are quite common in Eastern Australia but hardly ever seen.

White-throated sparrow, a regular visitor at the feeding station, almost always forage on the ground rather than up on the old picnic table where the seeds are spread.

Biturong, zoo specimen. The chances of seeing one in the wild are about as good as winning the lottery twice in a row.
