Geese and goslings. I was not able to get over to this spot while the goslings were still tiny little yellow balls that stick very close together.

Yes. That is when they are really cute. They clump together as they need to feel another hatchlings feathers at all times. I saw some at that stage while out walking Dahlia one morning, but I was not equipped to get a decent image.As they age, they get more independent, more willing to drift away from their clutch mates and do their own thing, and they aren't so very cute.

My first Blue Jay... Was a really tough shot between the branches into the overcast skies. I tried to pop-up the bird in the shot with a heavy vignette (which I've never been a fan of) - won't try that again. I did like the bird, nevertheless.
