I'd probably agree with you, though I do think it can be a descriptive of some of their behavior.

Gosling with one of its parents. Sadly, this little one will probably not survive to adulthood. It has one severely deformed hind leg and it's clutch mates are almost double its size already.

That is sad, but I was unaware that geese had "hind" legs.

I was very fortunate today to get such a good view of a Clapper Rail moving through the salt marsh, it did not seem to care that I was on the boardwalk above it, it practically went under me and out the other side. It was still difficult to shoot as it moved pretty quickly through the marsh, disappearing under the grass and popping its head up to look around.
