Warthogs - mother & youngster, and a youngster that is probably the same one as in the first image.

Partridge was a nice change, Pheasant and Mallard are the only game birds I normally see

River horses, indeed. I understand they can be very aggressive and dangerous. Doubtless you were aboard a boat...

Hippos are very dangerous. They wander away from the water at night, feeding here and there, including raiding gardens. Very big & strong, big nasty teeth. Keep your distance.

A little less danger, a Brown Pelican with some Royal Terns.

Elephants parading through the brush, an activity they do very well. Who or what would stop them?

Hi Noel! Posting during lunch break? 7:35AM here. Made waffles this morning with too much maple syrup atop, on purpose of course.
This was a picture of an ibis, but I didn't have the long tele mounted. (And the Moon is made of green cheese, the Earth is flat and disease is caused by an imbalance of the four humors ).

Hi WPRESTO- Yes, ecclesiastical duties done for the day, and not much of a lunch to speak of. I could do with some of those waffles. I'm envious. Some Forumites are so cruel

Not sure of the sex of these young elephants having a gentle tussle, but I suspect it's two bulls.
