Big waders such as this spoonbill are relatively easy to photograph.

I'd guess some people may no consider this wildlife, but they are hugely popular in the Kruger Park where this was taken.

Great blue herons may be the most popular subject for novice wildlife photographers. This deep crop is a bit much for the Bigma at its weakest focal length.

Here's another shot of the American GBH, much closer so very little cropping and better IQ.

The bears of Yellowstone Park were infamous from bringing out human stupidity. Parents were actually seen trying to place children on a bear's back for a photo.
My parents took me to Yellow Stone when I was 1 year old. My mom tells me they were so afraid of the bears roaming through the campground snatching me out of my little chair, they drove sticks into the ground around their campsite and tied a rope to the sticks to keep the bears out. Sometimes I wonder why I'm still alive...

Hey mom, did you ever consider maybe a bit closer supervision of the baby?????

Fortunately all parks, national, state and local, have largely banned any feeding of wildlife, putting an end to the bear jams in Yellowstone and much foolish (or better idiotic) attempts to get close to flagrantly dangerous animals. Even deer, which look so doe-eyed, can be dangerous.

I've seen those little dudes get spooked and kick... you definitely don't want to be on the other end of that.

After browsing page after page of gorgeous and exotic creatures, I present the rare and ferocious...squirrel. I couldn't even get this one to turn & face the camera...

You were wise not to force that photo in PP--it has such rich color and feel!

I think I posted a different image of this bird.
Long tailed Starling.

Thanks Dave. I did give this image a bit of a tweak in pp, but nothing major.
