Looks like a Crake.
Here's another memorable sighting from the Kruger Park- A cheetah high up in a tree- having been chased off its kill by some Hyena's.

Another leggy, long-billed wading bird, this one about to spoil the day for some little fish.

The Hammerkop (hammerhead-so named as its head resembles a hammer in certain positions), a bird associated with a lot of myths among some of our African tribes

Cross posted from post your photos, just to remind some to get out and shoot....

We've been watching the wolves over at the Park Visitors Centre feed on a dead moose carcass on the park's web cam.

Algonquin Park Live Webcam | Algonquin Provincial Park | The Friends of Algonquin Park

So I went over for a few images...

The visitor's centre

The wolf, I think this big guy ran everyone else off.

These guys were waiting for him to finish...

This raven over on the right decided to get closer for a better look...

Meanwhile down below at the feeder, there was the usual carrying on....

It's March Break and while I wouldn't say the park is full, there were a few people there. Over at the Spruce Bog Trail. where I went for another image of yet another Boreal Chickadee shot.
