I'm afraid I don't have too many wildlife images from any other place

That's a cool image. Reminds me of something from one of the Penguins of Madagascar movies (silly movies, but amusing).
But I went to Madagascar, and I didn't see one single penguin

I've seen them on the Cape Peninsula, though, braying like donkeys. I don't think I have any images of them available, though, so will post another striped one from way back. This one from northern Serengeti.

regarding your wildlife photos well as those of Noelcm

other than the utterly shocking lack of recent postings of photos featuring cheetahs

I, for one, like the " limited " nature of your guys' wildlife photos

this mallard must have seen " Psycho " shower scene and decided on a bath instead

cropped and pp

I saw some cheetah in the distance when we visited Kgalagadi two years ago, but it's waaaay too long since I've seen any close.

Always remember: Never play cards with a cheetah!

Some Serengeti impalas (about 10 years ago...)

Saw this guy in the back yard a couple of days ago, pulled the K-3 off the tripod lens, slapped the DA*300/1.4x TC combo on it and got off a few shots. Also got lucky. It was pretty severely underexposed because I didn't have time to check settings (you've only got a couple of seconds with these guys once they spot you) but I'm pretty pleased with the pp fix. I just saw him again this afternoon but he spotted me before I could even think about making a move for the camera.

thank you

I actually have quite a few, my attention was drawn to the mallard when it first started,

I shifted to multi burst shutter and the next time, I just pressed the shutter

a few minutes later, it did it again

gave me quite a large number of frames to choose from

I went for a long hike this morning, I saw a lot of deer, mostly white tails bounding away from me. Although this group was curious, and then they also turned and ran. There probably about 20 in this herd, as they kept coming out of the grass to run. It was a nice hike, I didn't get a lot of photos, but also saw wild turkeys, a red tailed hawk, a fox squirrel, song sparrows, red-headed woodpeckers, downy woodpeckers, white-breasted nuthatches, a great blue heron, and canada geese. Surprisingly no ducks on the river. Then on the drive home a snowy owl!
