Black-faced gull, although here it looks brownish to me.
Faded from the sun. Can’t get good feather dye these days.

I thought maybe it had misplaced its mascara.

Elephant, a bit rusty-looking from a coating of local soil & dust.

Try a BIG MAC! Stateside McDonald's is celebrating the something-or-other anniversary of the Big Mac by offering original, "mini," and MONSTER versions ("Grand Big Mac" 740 calories).

That will involve a trip a few km from where I am, and I may collapse before then . Eggs and Mayonnaise sandwiches on the Menu!

Flower-monkey. There's a table-service family restaurant chain found only in the northeastern USA, predates McD by decades, that just closed the location that we used maybe once or twice a month. Longer drive to the nearest which is at a much, much busier location. Bummer!

Mmmm. the sandwiches were lovely, i'm alive again . I pretty much stay away from Fast foods, and can't quite remember when last I've had a MacD's. And I gather you are not a fan of busy places with Homo Sapiens!

People? Only in small doses. I find the fewer the people, and the more of the things people clear away to make room for themselves, the more serene my mood. "I'd rather be a forest than a street......I'd rather feel the earth beneath my feet"

although I, personally, have rarely experienced encounters with wildlife far from vehicles and/or roads, I do enjoy it when that happens

it really isn't too bad when I do come across wildlife, even if I am in a vehicle or close to roads

[ almost said " run into " but decided that " come across " is the better choice of words ]

I concur! Hate shopping malls!
This jackal would join our anti-social club- he was rather shy and I dared approach for a closer view, and he was gone.

Glad to meet wildlife most any time, but for this fellow and some others, glad to be inside a vehicle.
