Well it is not the normal red-winged Blackbird we are used to seeing in Eastern Ontario, and not a Grackle either, they have blue heads. This one has a brown head and now that I think about it, it may be a Brown-Headed Cowbird

I think that CharLac is probably on the right train for id. The bill looks to me too heavy ("deep" where is contacts the face) for a blackbird or grackle. Looks like a seed-crushing bill. Of course, I've been wrong before, quite a few times now that I start counting. Hang on, I need a calculator.

Don't think i've posted this one before- Baboons quenching their thirst after some rain. Note the big male, hihs left leg seems out of joint, or injured, and he walked with a limp

Chipping sparrow. These little fellows are common, but tricky to photograph because they hop about so quickly. Many image files with just half a bird.
