Ooooo. I want to be inside a sturdy vehicle, maybe a tank, when a buffalo gives me that look.

But these fellows are just chilling. Hippos, like most cats, can look serenely, smugly content when they are sleeping.

I'll follow you, except these were not sleeping, but guarding their territory

Bluejay - - cat bird - - chickadee - - white-breasted nuthatch - - hairy woodpecker - - tufted titmouse - - Carolina wren - - red-bellied woodpecker - - and a ruby-throat hummingbird, the best among numerous unsatisfactory images. The hummers come and go so fast they are a real challenge to reflexes and AF. There are quite a few additional species not in this set.
The extra DoF you get from the same ƒ-stop on the smaller sensor is really helping you nail those images.

Went out on the upstairs porch to shoot some hummingbirds yesterday and saw a robin hanging out in the evergreen tree about 50 feet away. I've never seen them this high up in a tree before.

Hippos, an image quickly processed when a hippo binge was developing, but not quite quickly enough.

I went tot he Park and walked 5.5 km, and saw the same creatures i see in my back yard every day.

On the trail ahead of me. DA 55-300 PLM

K-1 and DFA 28-105.
I never see wildlife on this trail. So wrong camera wrong lens, which makes for a more environmental image.
