Wild or captive animals, in a zoo, trained, in a tank or cage or rehab center - - anything is acceptable except domestic animals. Many zoo specimens have posted on this thread.

A large snapping turtle, this species doesn't get too much bigger. It was walking across the lawn of a sportsman club about 3/4 miles down a woods road. Probably a female going to or coming from laying eggs, although it seems rather late in the Spring for that.
