There's a moment you cannot plan to capture.
The warthog should have been featured!

These fellows are likely to lay claim to a pool. Not sure how tolerant they are to either warthogs or elephants coming for a drink or dip.

They will tolerate it as long as it does not encroach upon their "space". Warthogs will be chased away, elephants, well that is another story, though there have been recordings of Elephants getting out of the way of angry Hippos.

You lucky fish ! Life is unfair! You come here or a few weeks and see things I have not, having lived here for over ... years! Always exciting to see a coucal.

Rhino and the safari vehicle with a different tour group.

That coucal was blind luck> everyone else was looking at something else in the other direction. Don't remember what it was, elephants maybe, but I had taken a couple pictures, turned, and there was this unfamiliar bird.

Spurwing Goose with an itch, one which did not go away, as it scratched and scratched for about half an hour.

Two kudu images The first one out in the sun has the nice tawny coat color I think of as natural or correct. In the second image the coat looks to bluish to my eye.

Black eyed Bulbul, mostly seen in game and nature reserves, unlike its more common urban cousin

White-bellied korhaan. It was way out there, and I was shooting through the bus window. Let me think if there's another excuse for poor IQ,

Must make a correction, this is RUPPELL'S KORHAAN, so identified by our tour guide at the time, and a species that isn't in our identification guide.

I believe that with what you had working against getting better IQ, you did quite well. I am not one to do a lot of Post Photo Editing, and I find this image rather pleasing.

thnx.
