A suspicious looking Hyrax, or maybe preparing for a dracula style attack. Look at those teeth?

The OP didn't get specific. Only titled the thread Thematic Wildlife.

That said, there have been a few posts here of zoo specimens.

FYI: From me at least, many, many images from zoos and aquariums. The mammalian wildlife available to me are grey squirrels (easy) and whitetail deer (maybe spotted once a month). There are other species - bear, coyote, racoon, opossum, fisher, mink, otter, fox - over 30 years I've spotted coyote twice, once when I had a camera but they were half a mile away running across the ice on a reservoir (they do show as specs with just enough detail to identify), once in 30 years I was able to photograph a fox, twice a black bear. So whenever I can I visit a zoo, even when we're traveling somewhere such as Germany.

Ok some zoo pics then, from a recent visit to Taronga Zoo (Sydney). On a personal note I'm not a fan of zoos, the older I get it just feels like I am capturing imprisonment, but the camera has no opinion, it just records the images.

Several very nice images in Bruce's post. Glad he won't be hesitating to show us his zoo images on this thread.
