Red wing blackbird. He was perched and calling atop a cattail, but flew off to forage in the grass before I could get into position for a shot.

Thanks Thy were at an isolated waterhole in the Namib. Probably why they congregated there, but they can live without water as well

Glad you enjoyed the image Tony. We enjoyed watching them paddling by. Think there's another image in the RTP folder with a different configuration of the "fleet."

Actually looks like a very good Offensive Line Position with the Quarterback in the Shotgun Position. )
