My 16-50 is almost as old as the 50-135. Some times it takes it a little while to 'wake up' but it usually does. I almost sent it in with my stained K5 a couple months ago but decided to wait until it quits all together. I'll be paying for the repair cost regardless at this point if I send it in so I'm not in any big rush to do so. Due to the Single games, it hasn't spent much time on the K5 either.

I have posted my 1st April shot.
I put it in Flickr as well. Yes, i suppose I am a glutton for punishment.
But in for a penny, in for a pound as an old saying goes.
My wife is very tolerant, even encouraging. Ah! don't you luv em!

I am taking an easier way out this time with the DA 16-45. Not as much challenge there, I guess.

Not real proud of my first shot, it ain't that good. But sorry, it will have to suffice at this time.
Looking forward everybody's shots. Good to see a lot of the old crew putting their hand up.

So, if I understand things right, I have to put my shot up here in the daily thread, and if I want to I can post it in the Flickr group too?

Not that I have a shot right now, just want to know beforehand....

I'll say it here too, I really thought we were going to do a daily thread on the 'normal' part of the forum, not in the group. My mistake, but how do you think about that?

I'd say that is a good idea, but a thread for every day is a kind of overload for the 'normal' part of the forum......

I agree this is why i thought we were doing it in the group, a thread for the whole month would become really unwieldy for reviewing and commenting i think (this was an issue with multiple individual thread combined with galleries in march which is how this all started Rense

I'm open to moving to the one thread in the games section, but as Jeff mentioned on today's thread perhaps we can just link to it from here. It allows people to follow it, but if they want to post they need to participate in the group, while they could still comment on the day/month here

Okaay, narrowed it down to two lenses.

-Helios 44M-4 (58/2)
-Exakta 70-210/2.8

So is anyone else using his or her helios?

I must say I am very unhappy how things are going right now. The whole fuzz about where to post photos is annoying, and I don't quite understand - not even after reading large parts of the earlier SI-challenges - why the earlier format of personal albums was renounced. I think it worked quite well, and I fear the overload of threads the way it is organised right now. So I decided to post on flickr, and not here. That's a pitty, because I think this whole Single In....thing belongs to PF.com.

Just a statement...

Are there those who have no albums available or is it limited in space for each album? If the latter, make two albums. First half of April and second half April. Or would that not work. I don't like having to post in day threads as I see it is going to cause problems when we all try to keep it straight to whom we are commenting or complimenting on photos.
