Thanks JeffJS,
I think the A20mm/2.8 you were interested in would look very sharp indeed on your camera for next month
It would and I did think about it but the winter utility bills have pretty much killed me for a couple months. That's why I said don't hold it if you have another interested party.

Hi Guys,
what's happening next month? I haven't done this for a few months and am keen to have a go.
I'm not joining next month, I want to switch lenses all day long and not being worried that I take THE shot of the day with my NOT Single lens.

@annemari - I don't know why not. Just do it.

@Karen - I know what you mean but that's what I have other cameras for.

I'll be in for Single in May, just don't know with what. It's apt to be long zoomy glass.

I am far behind, because I have been away for some days. But: I made photos, posted them to the flickr group already, but have to find time to post them here too.....

The only other camera we have here, besides the K200 but that's used by my husband, is the K10 and that only works on M because the lighting meter isn't working normally. So I use that for the M42 lenses only. Don't want to be walking around with 2 camera's. Besides, I just need a break, I always take a lot of pictures, but after 2 months of Single challenge it's almost begins to feel like a chore. But I will keep looking at all the shots everyone posts in the group (if you still are keeping the same format), so now and than you will find a comment of mine on your shots.
Or.... maybe I'll make my own kind of challenge, one dog per day for a month. Now that wouldn't be an easy one, getting a bit of variety.

Understood. I'm not ready for a break yet and have begun to think I might make it the full year.

Karen you've sort of become the ad hoc organizer of this event and I'd like to thank you for doing that with a lot of grace.

Thanks Tim, I don't see it that way, but thanks anyway.

I took waaaaaaaaaay to many nice/good shots today, have a hard time to choose which one to pick for the SIA. Dogs, husband, flowers, me? Oh no, not me, I didn't do a SP.

So, who in for Single in May? I am. I'm leaning towards my Tamron 70-200 f2.8 but I'm not fully decided on that either.

I am in. I am thinking of the DA 15 Ltd, one of my favourite lenses. I ordered a Tamron 90/2.8 which just arrived but since we probably won't see much foliage or floral activity until late May I think I will hold that for another month.

Sounds great. That Tammy 90 is an excellent macro. As you've seen shoot macros when the flowers are out, it's an easy month of focused photography.

I'm not in for May, but I already told that.

Joe, congrats on the Tammy, such a great, versatile lens. You can do so much more with it than only flower macro's, as you probably have seen in my album this month.

Tim, do use that Tamron 70-200 mm, I'm very interested in that lens (not that I can afford any lens, but still.... for better days I've put it on my wish list)

Thanks Karen. The Tammy is a great big honking lens, but...it can produce spectacular landscape shots. I've been wanting a reason to pick it up again and May is as good as any month. Stay tuned.
