David Nelson is known as the older brother on The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, played by his actual parents, and with younger brother Ricky.


Ron Randell starred in Smithy, then appeared in Kiss Me Kate, I Am a Camera, and King of Kings. He guest starred on TVs Bewitched, Mission: Impossible, and several daytime soap operas.


Lloyd Bochner was a Canadian actor, usually playing suave, rich leading men. He co-starred in the TV series Hong Kong, was on The Richard Boone Show, played Cecil Colby on Dynasty, did voice-work on Batman: The Animated Series and The New Batman Adventures, and was most-famously the cryptologist in the Twilight Zone episode To Serve Man.


Biff Elliott was an actor, perhaps best known for his role as popular detective Mike Hammer in the 1953 version of "I, the Jury", and as his guest appearance in the Star Trek episode "The Devil in the Dark". Films included The Enemy Below, and The Front Page. During his high school years, he boxed as Biff Harris, becoming the North Maine champ and reaching the New England regional championship.

Froilan Fernandez played four seasons in the Major Leagues, primarily as a third baseman, and shortstop or outfielder. Nanny played for the Boston Braves in 1942 and, after serving in WW II, 1946 and 1947. After two seasons in the minor leagues, he returned to the majors in 1950 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. After 1951 with the Indianapolis Indians, the Pirates' top farm team, he spent three seasons in the Pacific Coast League with the Seattle Rainiers and Sacramento Solons. His stats were .248 with 16 homers, 145 RBIs, 20 stolen bases and 8 for 25 as a pinch hitter.


John "Rabbit" Barnhill was a professional basketball player. He played on the Evansville Lincoln High School team that had an undefeated regular season and the city co-championship in 1954-55, won the NAIA championships in 1957, 1958 and 1959 with Tennessee State U, and from 1962 to 1969 played in the NBA with St. Louis Hawks, Detroit Pistons, Baltimore Bullets, San Diego Rockets and Indian Pacers. He averaged 8.6 points per game. He later coached with the LA Lakers.


Richard "Dick" Attlesey was a track-and-field athlete. He set world records in the 110m hurdles twice in 1950. He competed in college for USC and won the NCAA title in 1950. He repeated the next year as the AAU champion. He won the hurdles at the Pan Am Games in 1951. He then travelled to Europe for a series of competitions. He won in Milan, but failed to finish in Bern, ending his undefeated streak after almost two years. He won the rest of his races in France, West Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Injuries ended his career in 1952.

Roger Gimbel was a producer primarily of TV movies, many based on real events. In 1973, Gimbel shared an Emmy with George Schaefer for A War of Children. Other credits include Queen of the Stardust Ballroom, The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman, The Amazing Howard Hughes, Chernobyl: The Final Warning, The Glass House, I Heard the Owl Call My Name, Shattered Dreams, and Tell Me Where It Hurts.


Andre DeToth directed the 3-D movie House of Wax, despite being unable to see in 3-D due to losing an eye at an early age. He is known for his gritty B movies in the western and crime genres. In 1951 was co-nominated for an oscar for best writing with William Bowers for The Gunfighter. He also directed Pitfall, and Crime Wave. One of his 7 wives was actress Veronica Lake.


Patti Jerome started as a singer with Jerry Blaine’s Jubilee Records. She recorded with the Eddie Wilcox Orchestra. Later in life she was an actress appearing in the movies Alligator, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and Buddy Buddy. TV included Archie Bunker's Place, Emergency! and The Streets of San Francisco.

Ruth Louise was the first female photographer active in Hollywood, and ran MGM's portrait studio from 1925 to 1930. Subjects included Greta Garbo, Lon Chaney, John Gilbert, Joan Crawford, Marion Davies, and Norma Shearer. Ruth retired to marry director Leigh Jason in 1930 and died from complications after childbirth in 1940. Brother was director Mark Sandrich, cousin was actress Carmel Myers.


Carmel Myers was an actress primarily in silent movies, starting with a bit part in DW Griffith's Intolerance. She appeared in All Night, Broadway After Dark, and in her most famous role of the Egyptian vamp Iras in 1925's Ben-Hur. After her own TV show in 1951, she had a career in real estate and her perfume distribution company.


Morris R. Schlank started in the in Hollywood costume rental business, then was a "poverty row" producer, turning out 122 silent films until 1930, for his main market of third-run rural movie theaters. 1932's Shop Angel was his first talkie. Actors included has-beens and never-beens, and sets were frequently recycled.


Dr. Sarah Vasen was the first Jewish female doctor in Los Angeles and the first superintendent and resident doctor of Kaspare Cohn Hospital, which became Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She married Saul Frank in 1912, and gave up her private practice in 1915. She took an interest in the community and helped organize the first religious school for the city's Jewish children.

Vivienne Osborne was a stage and screen actress. While performing in Ziegfeld's musical of the Three Musketeers, she turned down a role offered by Douglas Fairbanks for his sequel to the Three Musketeers movie to continue her Broadway career. She later had supporting roles in films including Two Seconds (1932), Supernatural (1933), and I Accuse My Parents (1944). She left the industry in 1946.


Robert Lowery was a singer with the Slats Randall Orchestra in the early 1930s, played minor league baseball with the Kansas City Blues, then got into acting. During the 40's, he appeared in The Mark of Zorro, The Mummy's Ghost, and Dangerous Passage. Later appearances were in The Homesteaders, The Parson and the Outlaw, Young Guns of Texas, and Johnny Reno.


Symona Boniface acted in background roles until signing with Columbia in 1930, and began appearing in almost all of their comedy shorts, most frequently as a foil for The Three Stooges. Her haughty demeanor made her perfect for the stuffy grande dames whose lives were made miserable by the Stooges. This marker was provided by Stooge fans in 2005.


Willie Best starred alongside the Marx Brothers, Bob Hope, Laurel and Hardy, and three films with Shirley Temple. He also was a musician and song writer. After a drug arrest ended his film career, he worked in TV before retiring.

Danny Dark was the voice of NBC TV for many years, and the voice on RCA TV, Keebler cookies, Superman cartoons, Budweiser and Raid commercials. He is probably best known as Starkist Tuna's Sorry Charlie voice over.


Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco wrote musical scores for the films Gaslight, and Ten Little Indians, among others. His friendship with Andres Segovia led to his writing a large number of compositions for guitar.


Donald Jackson directed, produced, wrote, and did camera work. Films include I Like to Hurt People, Hell Comes to Frogtown, and Rollerblade Warriors. His first film The Demon Lover, was made while he was out "sick" from his factory job.


Dave Barbour was a a jazz banjoist and guitarist, pop songwriter, actor, and the husband of Peggy Lee for nine years. He played with big names including Billie Holiday, Artie Shaw, Red Norvo, Charlie Barnett, Glenn Miller, Woody Herman, and Andre Previn. He appears in small roles in 5 films.

Norman Katkov wrote scripts for TV series including Wanted: Dead or Alive, Ben Casey, Mission: Impossible, Slattery's People, The Wild Wild West, The Virginian, Ironside and Kung Fu. He wrote for the Saturday Evening Post, Ladies Home Journal and Collier's, as well as novels.


Freddie Fields founded the international talent agency Creative Management Associates and served as president of MGM and United Artists.


Perry Lafferty was a TV producer and network executive involved with All in the Family, M*A*S*H, Maude, and The Mary Tyler Moore Show. He also produced the 1985 TV movie An Early Frost, one of the first dramatic films to deal with the subject of HIV/AIDS.

Bill Quinn was working in vaudeville at age 6, was on radio's Mrs. Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch, and Just Plain Bill. He acted in TV's Hawaiian Eye, as the bartender in The Rifleman, McHale's Navy, The Virginian, Bonanza, The Big Valley, Ironside, Mannix, The FBI, McMillan & Wife, The Bob Newhart Show, All In The Family, Little House on the Prairie, and Archie Bunker's Place. He was in the movie The Birds, and played McCoy's father in Star Trek V.


William Phillips was an actor known for Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo, Detective Story, Till the Clouds Roll By, and Hellcats of the Navy,


Nora Sampson, nicknamed Teddy, acted in silent films including Standing Pat (1921), At the Postern Gate (1915) and A Child of the Surf (1915). She was married to Ford Sterling, the police chief in the Keystone Cops comedies.

Tommy Marth was a saxophone player, known for recordings and live performances with The Killers, including the albums "Sam's Town" and "Day & Age". While in high school, Tommy worked as a fashion model for Tommy Hilfiger, and Jaguar. He was in Sting's Desert Rose video, and Passion Fruit's Sun Fun Baby video in 2000. From November 2011, Marth had been the Hard Rock's nightlife marketing manager in Las Vegas. Found with a self-inflicted gunshot to his head.


Riverside National.

John McKeel was a Marine sergeant at the US Embassy in Tehran when it was overrun by Iranian militants in 1979. He and 51 other Americans were held hostage at the embassy for 444 days. In 1991, he was shot twice during a robbery of a woman who lived in the apartment complex he and his wife managed, and was later removed from life support at the hospital.


San Gabriel.

Richard Knerr was an inventor best known for marketing the Frisbee, and re-engineering the Hula Hoop. Other toys included the Superball, Slip 'N Slide, Water Wiggle and Silly String. Knerr sold his interest in 1982 for $12 million.

Maria Rasputin was the daughter of Russian mystic Grigori Rasputin and his wife Praskovia. Following the Russian Revolution of 1917, she wrote several memoirs about her father's life and his associations with Tsar Nicholas II and Tsarina Alexandra Fyodorovna, and about his murder.


Joseph Maier purchased the Eintracht Saloon in Los Angeles. It was so successful that Maier partnered with George Zobelein and bought the nearby Philadelphia Brew House in 1881, which by 1905 was the largest brewery in the western US. After Maier's death, in 1906 Zobelein filed a lawsuit againt the Maier heirs, and won a settlement.


Zobelein later was bought out by the Maier heirs, and purchased the Los Angeles Brewing Company. It produced beers sold under his Eastside brand. Illness forced his retirement in 1933. He died three years later. Joseph and George are buried less than 100 yards apart.

Joi Lansing acted, most notable on TV's Love That Bob, and uncredited in the films The Counterfeiters, Singin' In The Rain, and The Merry Widow. Better TV roles included The Brave One, and Hot Cars, and she was considered to join Superman, but the series was canceled with George Reeves death. She is also Lester Flatt's wife on The Beverly Hillbillies.


Santa Ana.

Justin Matthew Carmack was a child actor, known for the short film Delivering (1993) and an episode of Full House (1987). He died in a traffic accident.


LeRoy Melvin Radabaugh, as Richard Cromwell, co-starred in The Lives of a Bengal Lancer (1935) and appeared in Jezebel (1938). In his teens, he earned a scholarship to an art institute in LA. His artwork was impressive enough for film legends Anna Q. Nilsson, Tallulah Bankhead, Joan Crawford and Greta Garbo to be his clients. He opened a studio in Hollywood, but ended up in films. After his film career declined he returned to art, particularly ceramics. Married to Angela Lansbury 1945-46.


I know nothing about backward Elizabeth, though she likely spoke German :-)

Richard Baer earned an Emmy nomination for Hennesey, and wrote for The Life of Riley, Leave It to Beaver, Have Gun - Will Travel, The Munsters, The Doris Day Show, That Girl, Bewitched, MASH, and Who's the Boss?


Eileen Barton was a singer starting in vaudeville at age 2+. She was a child singer with Milton Berle, and as a teen with Frank Sinatra. Her famous song If I Knew You Were Comin' I'd've Baked a Cake was #1 for 12 weeks in 1949.


George Boemler was an editor on 63 films including: Suzy, Two-Faced Woman, Adam's Rib, and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. He shared an oscar for Oklahoma!
