Shashinki, yes, very! What breed is she exactly?

CJCram, another nice one of Helix. Was that also Lensbaby just not with the selective focus dialed in or another lens?

That picture was actually taken with my "new" SMC-A 50mm f2 that I bought on Ebay. I am planning on using it for macro work with some extension tubes (once I get them). So far I like it! It's really fast, I just have to adjust to using manual all the time with it and the Lensbaby.

Sounds good to me Since its my prize I wil request one taken with the A* 135, I havent seen many shots taken with this very rare and outrageously expensive piece of glass. How about one wide open and another stopped down Or am I beeing too demanding.

Bud, every one of them are a shot to be proud of. Really high quality there! Cute doggies.

I really like that Gecko too... Would love to have one. I love the science of their feet in how the tiny almost 'split endz to the Nth degree' hairs enable them to stick to glass.

This is my Mom's weimaraner, Baron. My wife and I bought him for her birthday 3 years ago. I believe he's the world's most spoiled dog. SUPER ball player!!!

Hehe the dog's at my parent's place some 200 km away, and i dont have any pics of her with the 135. But i tell you what i can do, i will post a picture of her taken with the 77mm now, and then I'll see about taking some misc. non-dog shots with the 135 this week. (its been kinda rooted to my LX since the day i bought it, so i don't have many pictures with it on the K10D )

Big Air

IQ is not the best here as it was shot with my very basic P&S but I decided to post it anyway because of the FUN factor. I there any doubt that Eva loves to play frisbee?

Hi Workingdog!

Nice shot! How did you capture this? I've been trying to get shots of my dog catching frisbee with varying success. I've used a tripod and cable release, pre-focusing where I (intend) to throw the frisbee... Did you have an accomplice to assist with throwing while you were shooting?

Chris,

I'm glad you like the picture. I suppose I'm my own worst critic. Well, as I said it was taken with a P&S, 4MP, 3x zoom in sport mode, continuous shooting. My wife was the frisbee thrower. I tried to situate myself so that the dog's distance from me would not be changing much as she chased the frisbee. When my wife throws the frisbee I follow the dog and press the shutter half-way to focus when it looks like the dog is about to jump (my P&S does NOT focus quickly). When the dog starts to jump I hold the shutter release down, keep following through the catch and landing (no mirror flip up to lose sight of things with the P&S optical viewfinder), and hope for the best. I wind up with 4 or 5 frames to pick from. And, I've said this before, the crop tool is my friend. When the weather gets more friendly I'm hoping to get some shots like this with my K10D. Here are 2 more examples for you. They are consecutive frames, probably the 2nd and 3rd in the burst. Enjoy!

I miss my shepards... none of my dogs since care much for frisbee let alone live for it like the shepards did or like I see Eva does!
