If mine are any better, it is just because mine our outdoors with good light. I have only not ventured too far off of Auto, the P-S-A... This one was taken with a SMC M135 3.5. It is one of the good old manual lenses.

I seldom use flash because my cats sense the pre-flash and I end up with half closed eyes.

My favorite cat shot so far that I have taken is the trixie delight shot on page 1 of this thread. It was shot with the DA 50-200 in natural window light.

What lenses are you using?

Here is my Desert Lynx a little angry because I was taking to many pictures of him. He gave out a blood curling roar to tell me to get lost. It is the Bob Cat blood coming out.

I have not participated in this thread until today that is , as my dog usually runs when I get out the camera - however with a new lens I was more persistent ! Here he is in all his glory Jack my friend for almost 12 years ....

Got a little break in the weather today, so I took the dog for a walk. About a 1/2 hour after this shot was taken, it started snowing. Ah well, it is winter.
