Just 'cause I'm procrastinating...

A shot of Ollie, which until a few days ago was the desktop picture on my computer. She was "helping" me take some macros. I was lying on the floor and she decided I would be nice to sit on, so this is taken with a 90mm macro with her sitting on my hip.

Today it's Ollie's sister, Tova. They barely tolerate one another, but they'll cuddle up for warmth on cold nights.

I should point out that this is the only shot I have of Tova in which her face is in focus, she's looking at the camera, and is in good light for photographing a black cat. She's far too interested in being petted, so she always tries to rub on the camera!

cocker spaniels

The angry looking picture is the daughter of the dog on the couch. She looks pissed because i'm disturbing her begging technique. Both pics were taken with the K100d and 50-200mm pentax zoom. I no longer have the k100d, i miss her.

Nice shots, everyone, and thanks, Ron, for posting your herp pics! One of these days, I'll get around to taking some shots of the reptiles we have here, but for now... here's Sergei, our Pomeranian and Pierre, the rambunctious Papillon on a recent fall hike.

Love'n the contributions... I forgot to say earlier, really neat concept on the composition there cjcram; and you really nailed focus on that one Eaglerapids.
and, thnx -- imagine the background oof from the bokeh of the voigtlander if I had the lens back when I took the shot!

Here's a couple of the three girls today (both taken w/the voigt lens) ... seems there's a common 'angle I've been working' lately...
