Cera really enjoys getting in the holiday spirit
Kameko - Much as I love our cats, as a photographer, I must admit I am somewhat jealous of your muse and model, Cera. I imagine she moves somewhat more slowly than our cats, which means you can get sharper images in lower light than I can. I hope you and Cera have had a happy holiday.

Here's a photo of Jasper (the oldest, by a few months, of our three Tonkinese) in front of our Christmas tree.

Ha ha. Our cats love wrapping paper, too. They think that anything that arrives sealed in a box or bag belongs to them. And if there's crinkly ribbon, all the better. What did your cat get for Christmas?

That's wonderful that you can take Mo everywhere. I especially loved the one at the building with the big wide steps leading up to the door.

Matt - that kitty's fangs are skeery! What an expression!

Frogoutofwater - gorgeous kitty shot.

Here is one of Elsie from yesterday morning. She often gets more camera time as Fred is usually off and about sniffing and marking his territory, whereas Elsie is happy just to sit and pose for me.

Will try and grab a Fred shot soon.

Elsie looks so sweet - that's a lovely, pensive portrait.

Thanks frogoutofwater yeah, she's a sweetie and she knows it. Always such a poser. I wish I could grab photos of Fred like that. But all he does is put his head on his paws and look glum.

Mostly boxes, paper, and ribbons. Better than any cat toy! But I think there may have been a toy mouse or some quality nip in their stockings too.

Happy late holidays, like the holiday themed shots.

Taken with a new DA 10-17

Stormy staying warm in bed

Showing me his new toy(he already chewed the ears, eyes, arms and legs off but the tag is untouched.... stormy might be a sadist)

Edit: I forgot I was going to see if anyone thought this fits here? He's sorta my pet lol

I-sobot awaiting your commands

frogoutofwater - thank you, we most certainly had a decent holiday. I hope you and Jasper did as well. While I'm fortunate that Cera does move slower than most, she still defecates on me prior to each adventure out of her terrarium It's a ritual I've grown accustomed to over the years. Cera comes out, I handle her for a few minutes, watch the tail come up, run to bathroom, hold her over toilet, let her finish then get on with photo's.

Jaxon however, does not crap every time he's out of his crate. He's far more spastic and difficult to photograph.
