Agree but I don't think I'd try to take that toy away from him, though. Nice photo!

Nice one!

In keeping with the lounging theme, here's a recent one of our new kitten, Doc...

Oh no, another lounging competition is afoot!

Here's my dog lounging with on top of her mother a while ago. Skippy's now just as old as her mom was when I took this.

This thread does not give me LBA as bad as others, but it certainly makes me want more pets!

I especially like Doc the kitten, and skippy as a puppy great captures guys

Edit: Paul, doc looks like he/she has a beauty mark, reminds of a friends cat Marilyn Meowson

Lounging! If we are talking loungers, I think I have the kings! These are when they were pups - they have grown into full fledged 200# loungers since then.......

he's a sweetie pie, stormtech. I'll be sure to give him a cuddle and tell him he has another fan

You would think so, dadipentak but you would be surprised. Despite his size he is the sweetest dog in the world. He had to get my mother in law's Jack Russell to defend his honour and had the gall to run behind me when another JRT barked at him. He thinks he's bottom dog.

Ah! Is this the legendary, nay infamous, "Dirty Harry" who's affection for Elsie was not returned?

Richard.

Such good memory, RichardS! Yes, the infamous Dirty Harry.

He got very jealous of wolfiepup when we stayed with him during New Year's. Every time she got attention he'd sneak over and try to grab some too only to be rebuffed by doting grandparents.

I posted from this set but not this one. Stormy wants to chase something and I'm telling to to stay. Looking at these full size wide open close focus shots the 55-300 WR is impressing me.

I've been busy for a few days and haven't had the time to check out photos on this thread - so many great images! I love the snake photo, Hogboy. Did you arrange it to make such a nice composition?

I was taking a studio lighting course this past week at the International Center of Photography in NYC. It was an excellent class - dynamic and helpful teacher, interesting students, great lessons. But the best part was that the teacher (Robert Meyer) brought his dog to class every day. And when we had our full night of shooting models, he helped me set up the lights to do some portraits of his beautiful Golden, Sky. Here are a couple of my favourite shots:
