SOOC shot of Blu taken with the OMD EM5 and 45 1.8 I picked up to try out on the weekend. I'm thinking it may be a keeper

I have been using the sigma 18-35/1.8 exclusively for about a week. I think it's definitely a keeper. Both 20mm/1.8 bottom left image unedited converted RAW

So the Previous post was Blu SOOC from the Oly OMD EM5 I'm trying

these 2 (Griffe and two of Blu) are from the Fuji XE! and Kit lens I'm trying. Both systems call to me for different reasons, (I may have to buy both ) All SOOC in crap light. Not a bad kit lens (f2.8 at the wide metal construction and OIS built in)

long story maybe if you come to the city we can meet for a pint and I'll tell you. What drew me back was the break in that cost me a pile of gear. i'm testing a couple of cameras to decide which way i'm going. the easy way would be k3 and some new lenses (tempting i admit) but I find i'm not lugging the slr around as much. the Fuji really appeals to my rangefinder lust (closest I'll get to a leica) and has excellent glass available. the OMD is also excellent and may well be the camera ny wife ends up with so I can get the best of the mirrorless world that way
I still have the Ky DA35 Da14 and a bunch of taks (the theif missed the bag in the livingroom, and my Medium format gear (wish he'd grabbed that replacement cost would have won me a 645z with 4 lenses )

As for the Quad I changed jobs and work up at the Cricket Club now at Aveniue and Wilson so I don't walk through Ry High as much, I transited today maybe i'll get off early and grab you a shot with the Fuji

Ooh, sounds pretty slick

But seriously I'm thinking about a mirrorless rangefinder style myself for a daily walk around camera.
I really like the look of those Fujis and the way the photos look. Tempting but not cheap!

Sorry to hear that... eddie, sounds awful....

We went up to Opeongo Lookout today, and over course of the walk the dogs had a blast.

they aren't cheap is an understatement, fortunately State farm is paying not me We may well end up with an oly and a Fuji set up. I've already ordered the Fuji I want in (and am waiting on a rebate program to pick it up as one should start soon it is in the US in a couple of days) at a minimum I'll get the X-E2 with the 23 1.4, 351.4, 56 1.2 and maybe the 18 2.0 pancake and the 27 pancake if the rebates are good and my wife's choice isn't too pricey. possibly the 60 macro as well but in reality I don't see it as a macro monster and can use tubes and taks via an adapter. All told both systems (My Wife's and Mine) with all the bits and bobs I have about $6800 to burn. If the bugger had just grabbed My medium format bag (loaded and ready to go) I would be talking a 645z setup since they can't put together medium format film new now days (and I have 4 lenses and the big ass pro metz flash etc) a 645 with 4 lenses would be a nice xmas present I think hahaha

This is my niece's dog - Chewey. From the way he was looking at me I think this was the first time he had his pic taken!
