Nice, Ski areas up and running already!! In Ontario we'd be doing well to be open early December (*and to last until the en of march)

Some are but ours don't open until next week and you can't bring a dog. This was in the backcountry, climbing under our own power.
Our areas usually stay open until a week or two into April but I usually backcountry ski into June or later and then start up again in October.
My wife says I'm sick but she just doesn't understand...

Ha I get it, I don't ski much now but I skied for a living when I was young and I was fanatical, I'd go sign in at other clubs on my days off to ski a different slope. and my favourite trails were invariably the unofficial don't ski down here trails - plainly marked and chained off usually- (which I'd run at least once a day looking for anyone who manage to hurt themselves I was a Pro Patroller)

I was photographing a colleague and his pets for part of a portrait project I'm doing, focusing on people involved in animal welfare and the animals they love. Polo here obviously has excellent taste in camera gear.

My favorite subject hides in palm leaves sitting on the top of fence and watching sunset.

From yesterdays walk.... Dreamer the old guy doesn't go on walks over 1km any more. He wants to, but it's hard on him. All taken with the Sigma 8-16.
