Luna likes to get a higher view of things which also makes for nice poses.
Our Misty is like that.

She and Tripper didn't come on the afternoon walk, but Tia and Jesse did.

That dog takes off and goes and finds mud, even in the middle of droughts. If there's mud, she'll find it. She had a bath yesterday after almost sinking into a bog. Tess was delighted to see she'd found another mud hole when I got back.

If there's no mud, a large puddle of water will suffice

I was too disgusted to take a photo but on our second walk yesterday (yes, she is spoiled) Luna found something rancid and rolled in it very thoroughly.
So I ended up giving her an equally thorough shampoo and bath when we got home. I don't think either of us enjoyed it much.

K-1 , 40XS, FA 50 macro and DA*60-250

On the Whitney Rail Trail (the old railroad bed now used by ATVs and skidoos. )
The nice thing about your dog is, if you're feeling like a nice long walk, he's there for you.

The froggy pond.

The old log cabin.

The rail trail.

At the swimming hole

Tripper on the bridge

Scenery taken from the bridge.

The falls

One last trip back to the swimming hole, before we head home.
