Pepi. 16 pounds, muscular and almost two years old.

He had it out with the neighbor's Lab when it came on our back deck and Pepi prevailed.
But it wasn't a fair fight. Pepi was on his home turf and the Lab is a gentle creature that visits with us out on the deck.
We had the owner bring the Lab into our house and let the two of them sniff it out and it worked. They both ended up grooming each other and all is well and the Lab is back to visiting with us on the porch for the summer. From what I have seen of Labs they must make good family pets - calm, gentle and friendly.

This was a throwaway shot, waaayy underexposed. I was able to somewhat massage the RAW into a passable photo. Yay.

My best friend Hubble, my 10-ish year old Chow, letting me practice my manual focus technique with the A*600 and a 2x-L Converter on the K-3 at mfd. He is such a gentle soul and I think that his eyes show it.
