Ha ha! Good question! Actually they both did, having a refreshing splash in the creek.

I swear Luna must have some mountain goat in her ancestry somewhere!

She always seems to be on the highest available point when she poses for a photo.

I think you are right! She loves the high spots and naturally gravitates to them. Then I reinforce that by telling her to stay and then giving her a treat!

Time to say goodbye to Moana

We found her about 6 weeks ago, and were hoping we could keep her. But we're moving soon and that's not going to be possible She's a 4-5 month old lab mix, who is very sweet and friendly, and rambunctious! For the moment, I'm trying to re-home her through craigslist. The animal shelter is an absolute last resort. I'm open to suggestions on how to re-home her, if any of you have some insight. @atupdate, any ideas? Thanks in advance!

These were taken last weekend at the local dogpark pond, when she finally jumped into the water with the big dogs! She has the red/white collar. (iPhone)

The biggest issue with Craigslist is some people collect the dogs to re-sell. You have to go with your gut feelings after meeting the people.

Another option is a no kill rescue group. This Google link shows several options in the DFW area.

dog rescue dallas fort worth - Google Search

There may be a surrender fee for dropping off the pup with a rescue group. I don't think your little guy will be hard for them to find a new family.

Good luck.

Let me think now - she GRAVITATES to HIGH SPOTS. Shouldn't she LEVITATE to high spots?
