Noam, our 7-month old bobtail (old english sheepdog) has featured in my posts before so just thought he'd pop in to say "hi" after a very cold and windy walk at the beach!

Missy Peepers trying to catch water dripping from the melting snow, while sitting next to my Aloe Vera plant. (Which is broken precisely because I have a cat!)
First shot is at 1/160s f/4, 105mm, ISO 100 with my new Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 APO EX DG Macro II. Heavy but nice so far. This is also a test shot. Dxo std profile and cropped.
Second is at 1/200s f/5 155mm ISO 200 same series and lens. What was funny was when she leapt at the window thinking she could catch a drop,

Not this one anyway. This was only 1/200s because I was using my ski user settings which is Av, f/10 with ISO 400 and +1ev. Usually that gets the shutter much faster but it was a socked-in morning and still a little dark.

I kind of liked how the blur came out. She was getting all frisky because I was trying to stop her from digging up and eating horse poop. She thinks that's a great game.
