Tralee on her way down the A-frame obstacle. Some dogs, when they get to the top, stop to admire the view, much to the exasperation of their owners.

Great walk at the creek this morning. The low water is perfect for a dog that prefers wading to swimming.

Chihuahua and two papillons (judging from the ears) at the agility trial in June. Perhaps unexpectedly for some, a good many of these little dogs compete in agility, and some of them, especially the papillons, are very, very good at it.

Tralee emerging from a tunnel and looking to M for instruction on what to do next. Tunnels seem to be T's favorite obstacle. She's the right size for one, but amazingly, there are Great Danes who get through pretty quickly (not many of that breed do agility)

Reunion

We boarded Princess for several days while I drove with my daughter to her new job in Missouri. Given her advanced age and weak condition (Princesses--not Clara's), we were concerned about her the whole trip but she seemed in pretty good condition when I picked her up today. Here she is being welcomed home by Tweetie. It's just coincidence, btw, that they're both the same color as the floor--that sort of color coordination isn't a (conscious) factor in our pet selection. Unfortunately my shoulder won't permit me to use a real camera so it's an iPhone photo.

Here is my neighbors cat hunting. I had the lens for a different setting. The cat chasing this up on the roof changed all that. A 6 pound/2.5 kilo cat against a 5foot/ 160cm crane.
