I do have some recollection of big snow from my childhood in Minnesota & Iowa, but haven't had the pleasure of experiencing it recently! As a kid, it never bothered me - snow was just fun, fun and more fun

We were dogsitting The Pug Nation a couple weeks back. Our Shih Tzu puts up with none of their guff.
