Very moody and unusual for pet photography. Feels like a bar shot of the person who just had a breakup. Love it.
Hey bartender! One bourbon, one scotch, and one beer.

thank you - it was an unusual shot - she was behind me and I knew if I moved, she wouldn't stay, so LiveView for the focusing, trigger the shutter, and hope for a decent shot...

Windy walk this morning. No summit this time because we thought we might blow away!

I don't have any pets, but my girlfriend has a dog, called Bob, and while it's a bit ******* (♥) sometimes, it's a love of an animal.

Tralee, our beloved Sheltie, fell desperately ill a week before our long scheduled departure for Australia. A battery of tests, ultra sound scans, and X-rays and visits to four vets yielded no diagnosis. We were forced to leave with a caretaker who shared our fondness for Tralee, but our dear companion did not recover. She had to be put down on October 1, at ten years of age.

The images in post #10061 on page 671 above were taken during her last agility meet, with just three weeks left to her life. The last image was taken during her very last run, which she executed flawlessly. M had developed a special relationship with Tralee by doing agility, a kind of communication that M did not have with other pets. We go on, but there's a huge empty place, and we'll return to a home that will be far too quiet.Take a moment to remember with me a wonderful little dog.

Sorry to hear of your desperately sad news. Though it's no consolidation really, 10 years is a good lifespan for a dog and I hope my two make it at least that long. Thoughts are with you at this time.
