Zayra, and in case you are wondering, that was her favorite spot on the backrest of the couch preferably in the sun.
What a handsome dog! "...was her favorite spot..." I gather she's a memory now? That's sad

One of our outside cats in Tunisia, they live everywhere, but decide to be at our place when we are there because that is where the snacks are.

I've seen quite a few images of Daisy now without commenting, so I'll inject that she looks like a really fun companion, full of friendship and mischief.

I'm afraid you'll see many more! She's one of my faithful subjects/companions, along with Mabel (she looks a bit like a mop). Friendship, yes. Mischief, oh yes! She has an insanely high prey drive, no fear and very keen nose. I was once walking her along the beach, approximately 150m towards the tide and she pricked up, started running towards the slipway (another 10m long)... Thereafter, she crossed the bike path (2m) and footpath (2m), sniffed around on the grass verge there (approximately 15-20m length) over the boundary wall, across possibly one of the busiest roads in my hometown (approximately 6-8m wide) and to a deceased squirrel on the other side of the road (2m into a junction). My heart was in my throat and my stomach dropped. How she survived that one is a mystery to me, the little blighter!

Approximate total distance travelled to squirrel: 200m.

I cannot always read a dog's personality, but mischievousness certainly came to mind as soon as I saw the first image of Daisy. But she's a terrier, what else could be expected?

Exactly! We can't be too annoyed at her, it's in her nature!

In going back through images of Tralee, inevitably many were taken at agility meets where I took more pictures of other dogs than of her (I had to stay out of sight much of the time she was running the field, because she'd lose focus if she saw me). Here's an Aussie highly pleased after completing a run, knows it's done something good and is looking for praise from its best friend in the whole world.

My parent's Toy Poodle, Henry. Pictured with my younger brother after a stroll on the beach. The ever-filmic Sigma Super-Wide ii, and it's associated glare, detract a little from the overall detail of the image, but I'm happy with the result all the same. He's a lovely boy (the dog), very people friendly despite not being overly keen on dogs. He'll tolerate my Daisy, but my Mabel is just too much energy for him!

This one is Layla.
One of the polydactyl Maine Coons I had. She had 26 (7-7-6-6) toes as compared to 18 (5-5-4-4) in a non polydactyl cat.
By the way I probably can outpost anyone . I have a minimum of 60.000 cat photos.
That is a photo a day for the next 164 years and 3 months
