This is Boo, rescued after an encounter with my former boss's Rottweilers. Fortunately the injury was minor. She has moved in and taken over the place, much to the consternation of the other resident cats. Spoiled little diva, she even brings her toys to bed!
Is there any animal that can look so pleased, cmnfortable and self-satisfied as a sleeping cat? I think not.

Agreed, 100%. This one lives to be in bed with one or the other of us. We think she has some built-in motion sensor that alerts her to someone getting in range of the bed, so she flies like a bullet onto the bed and makes herself comfy.

Nice portrait of a handsome dog.

Three Papillons, not ours, at an agility.meet. These little dogs look almost silly, but we've seen many do agility and they're very good at it. They are a smart little breed.

Cats have so many responsibilities that can wait until tomorrow, or next week, whenever - maybe.

Gorgeous cat, BTW, if I didn't comment on her before.

Or to quote a cat from a Disney(?) movie: "Dogs drool; cats rule."

This looks like a perfect cat sleeping place, but Annabelle only used it for about a week, then went back onto the upholstery.

Typical, ours stake out a "snooze spot du jour" and use it more or less exclusively for a week, maybe two. Then it's on to a different spot. Almost never in an official "kitty bed", of which we have half a dozen scattered about. They prefer empty boxes, chair seats, top-of-furniture lookouts, anything other than the designated cat beds.

Awww... I may be mostly a cat person, but bulldog puppies give me weak knees! What a darling!
