Her name is Suejay, a romanized version of the Cantonese word for Miss. However, she is all Persian.

I dont have any pets but I relized I did take some shots of a friends kitten a couple of months back. I was doing some work when the cat came up my leg, wanting attention. I grabbed the camera to get a shot, but actually misfocused, I think maybe the cat was too close for the min focusing distance.

and, taking some liberties with the 'pet a day' but for a fellow voightlander, ok ; great shots! if you didn't tell me the focus was off the 1st, probably wouldn't have known @ that size. 2nd is noticibly sharper next to it tho.
John, that has to be one of the wildest cats I've ever seen. wow!

Another boring one from me with my great manual portrait/macro/landscape (everything!) lens

Its not easy when there are no pets around, the friend that owns that cat lives in a different country so I cant just go over there either Ill go visit my sisters house in a few weeks time though, they just got a new dog. And they already have rabbits, chickens, a turtle and whatnot. Ill bring the voigty

The question is, with you loving your 125 so much, how long is it going to be before you get more VL glass Too bad they are not so fast... but the 180 is very small for its FL.

lol, ya, I read your fight with LBA in the other thread today but didn't have time to post.
That's it for me I think; actually, I'm pretty sure. I believe you've seen these, taken with the 125/2.5 and 1.7xAF TC ; needless to say I'm very happy with the results + AF of sorts ta'boot.

Sure double the weight and more then double the combined price then the 180/4.5 (I know you know ) ... but if that's what I got, I'll use it.

I would consider a real wide lens from them, but I'd never be able to focus it. These bad eyes of mine needs a telephoto for me to be able to manually focus a lens. Plus I have the DA 12-24 f/4, so it defeats the purpose there too. I'm pretty set with the kit I put together.

Gotta love SR... 125mm lens shot @ 1/15 sec handheld, in really low available light so even with f/2.5 was ISO 640. For that reason, pretty motion blurred. (well, the carpet and toys are in focus! ) But, I dig the series (click the image) for both the colors and her attitude @ the moment. After playing with the rag toy she reEEEached (there's some shots that got away!) for that big bone toy to give it some chomps.

Two of my favorite things ... my dogs (in this case just one of them) and the fine warm glow off the vintage tube amps in the oof background...

p.s. Eaglerapids (just saw yours get saved after I started but before I saved mine) ... lol ... I can relate!
