twokatmew - lovely pics!! it's hard to get pics of my two together so i really do appreciate what you've done with yours. and both in focus too!
Thank you! Actually I have a third cat, but I guess it would be too much to ask to have all three in the same pic. This was quite a lucky shot!

My fav is your second pic, those soft, hopeful eyes!

Love that third one in the previous set WolfieG. He looks a real character.
Thanks Mark. Are you referring to the single one of Elsie? Am a bit confused by 'third' as I've only been posting one to two shots lately.

Hrmm.. just realised I only caught Elsie and not Fred again. bah... I better stalk Fred tonight in order to get him back on here!

This is Elsie investigating one of our newly formed streams after the Big Rains.

I got home on a very hot afternoon, to be met by three relaxed cats. They were sunning themselves on the garden path, so the camera had to come out.

Carus was totally relaxed...

But Nuala decided to step in (can't have all the attention on Carus after all) and he got all friendly...

The two of them settled down though. And I love Socks just chilling in the background, not fussed by all the action.

Thanks, WG. My niece loves her kitty and doesn't see much of her while she's away at uni. Lots of hugs on this 3-day visit.

Thanks Twocat :-)

It was the DA*16-50 @ 21mm. Very pleased with the way it turned out.

Had to smile at your username - by this time next week we'll be a two cat family again. Our last two died three or four years ago but we have two tabby kittens joining us on Sunday :-)

I am guessing 35mm since it preserves geometry quite well. but I am almost sure to be wrong!

EDIT: Not only wrong but half an hour too late!

Schweppes is back...

... and she likes the FA 43 Limited. Of course it likes her too! The first is wide open at f/1.9.

And the next at f/2.4, which is better for getting stuff in the plane of focus.

Well the funny thing is, I have three cats! I always have between one and three depending on whether one or two have recently passed on. But I've had my username for so long, it will remain twokatmew no matter how many or few cats I have.

If you scroll back a page, you can see my two girls Ella and Pearl, who will be 2 yrs in June. When I recall that someone abandoned them at 2 weeks of age, and I see how sweet and lovey they are now, it makes me even more proud of them ... and very sad for whomever didn't want them.

I'm sure your two impending arrivals will bring much joy to your home!
