You know, if this turns into a relaxation contest, the cats are bound to win.

Another great shot of Henry.

Shot with the K-5 using the A 135 f2.8 on a Pentax F 1.7 AF Adapter. This is my 13 yr old Chow mix, Lightning. She hates it just when I have a camera out, much less when I try to take her picture. So I have to be sneaky about it and capture her from a distance, hence the converter.

That's funny! She's very pretty.

Despite what you may think from my last picture, my dog is completely indifferent about the camera. When the camera comes out, it's like I cease to exist. She just does that cover-the-face thing when she's excited. I think it makes their nose itchy; some dogs sneeze when they're excited, but Skippy will just rub her nose with her paws.

I'm a fan of candid shots, so I'm kind of glad that she ignores the camera. This was shot with my beloved Sigma 30. I've found that it has a bit of Helios-like swirl to it when shot wide open. Such wacky bokeh is rare in a modern lens.

That's a perfect portrait - a wall hanger for sure!

A friend's dog, leaping out of the pond. Taken last night at a local dogpark.
