Zoe doesn't care who's boss as long as it isn't her.
Nala still pulls her sh*t on Zoe, but Zoe will put her paw on Nala's back and give her something to be scared of. Though that's still usually only 'posturing'. With Mini and Nala, it's real and usually is a result of either one of the dogs has or just picked-up a toy and the other goes to take it out of her mouth. Nala's typical body slams and pecks don't 'usuall' lead to face-offs. Though it's pretty funny how mad and literally revengeful Mimi gets when Nala couldn't care less that Mimi is in her path while she's running and barrels over Mimi; then Mimi start running after Nala barking her head off, nipping @ Nala at subsequent passes by.
I'd forgot to mention, with Mini's fixing up, she had the bottom of her chin cut open in two spots 1/2 inch apart and a soft surgical tube w/a hole in the center snaked thru, to allow the torn area that was now made into a pocket after being sealed up in the mouth above, to drain. Two days after the event I had to yell @ Mimi as she was going for the feet of the rubber ball toy w/feet that was in Nala's mouth. ... No, Mimi's not w/o fault in all this. :ugh:
As it's the next day, and I have a lot of catching-up to do, here's a few more of the girls...
I wasn't 'touching' Nala much this week. We broke down yesterday and raked out all the winter hair you see 'molting' off her here.

A tighter crop of Mimi w/that 'sad' tooth sticking out she's going to loose next...
