Somehow my images from my solo trip with Tripper dog didn't get posted, I must have left the page before hitting the "post reply button." oh well better late than never...

You'd think he sleeps a lot, but really, he's just easier to photograph when he's sleeping. I haven't figured out how to throw his ball and photograph him at the same time.

Wesley always attracts attention from the ladies and little kids. Here we are hanging out in the Plaza, and I decide to get a shot of Wes looking down the street. The nice lady on the left tells him how cute he is, causing his ears to perk up just a millisecond before I hit the shutter. Thanks!

Amazing! This is pure art, according to me! Probably one of the best photos of this beautiful that I ever see, faithful animals... Congratulations!

RIP Sweet Noel

My favorite cat at the shelter where I volunteer as a photographer died after an illness that we couldn't figure out. I had been trying to persuade my husband to adopt him (but we already have 3 cats in a Manhattan apartment).

I'm just shattered. Noel was a stray who never got to have a loving family of his own.

I want to go over the shelter right now and bring home all the "lifers".

Today has been a crummy day. I found out today that my cat Winnie has a mass in his mouth that is infected. For now he is on an antibiotic and an anti-inflammatory in 10 days or so I have agreed to have the mass removed and tested. The vet that will do the surgery isn't sure what the mass is she said it probably will be cancer and if it is the prognosis isn't great. I've told them to do what ever is needed to make him comfortable and we will have to see what happens.

I feel your pain, I too would want to give them all a furever home! I'd be one of those mad cat people. A gentle hug from someone who received some lousy news today too.

I'm sorry that Winnie isn't feeling well and that you are worried about her. A hug from me to you, too, and I will keep both of you in my thoughts.

So sorry about Winnie. It is always a sad day when we find out a pet we love is not well. If only they could talk - but then again they do in so many ways. It sounds as if you are giving her the very best. She loves you for that.
