Another nice series, Norm - love the dogs & the Fall colors...the pup looks like he's bigger than Misty now
She's taller, but 15 pounds lighter. She has a bit of filling out to do, although, her aunt (Kenzie) was never more than 35 pounds and Misty is 47 pounds.

Ian,

Did you use Catch In Focus on this one or Continuous Focus? Great action shot.

Thanks! I preset focus and used burst mode, actually. It seems like the most reliable way to do it, in my experience. I was using a Takumar 135mm f/2.5 at f/4, in case anyone wonders. Continuous autofocus was not allowed.

He he! The sand puts her in turbo mode.

I always wonder what it is on the ground that could possibly be so enticing. Bleh!

I love seeing your two wolfies. There's been a Wolfhound puppy coming to the park over the past few months named Fezzik, after the giant in The Princess Bride. He's growing like a weed. I think he was only 6 months old in this picture.

Thanks =) That wolfhound puppy looks so adorable!! Mine are only half wolfhounds, so will not be half as big as that one you see at the park in a few months time!
