K3+ Super-Tak 50mm f1.4 (planar)

shot @ f1.4 with the 8-element Super-Tak, close focus, sharp wide open, this guy thinks it's a macro lens.

Chuck, my condolences. Sounds like she had a good run.

Stavri, that 8 element Super Tak is good for pet portraits, isn't it. Here's one of Tika a couple of months back on the one year anniversary of her adopting me. Also with that lens.

Our old crab, Inez. She used to like to paint pictures that reminded her of home.

Thank you both very much. That photo was taken a couple of years ago just before her advanced age started to affect her physicality. Even then you could see her hair turning white under her eyes and around her muzzle.

My condolences as well, Chuck. I know she had such a wonderful life with you, and a long one, too! It's never easy to loose such a close friend. My friend just lost a friend of her own, a hybrid named Kaden. He was only 11, but he was affected by a creeping paralysis that eventually left him without any control of his back legs. Still, his owner carried him back and forth every day, several times a day, until he finally passed on. He was such a sweet wolf. I took this just a week or so before he died. He may have lost his legs, but he never lost his wits.

I'm going to flood the thread for a bit... all shots, K-3 and F-70-210

First Misty and Tia playing - or is it a fight to the death,we own a devil dog....

Than an action sequence, taken from a 12 shot sequence that had every frame in focus, right up to 6 feet away from me, and people say there's something wrong with the tracking on this camera.

And lastly, as grumpy as he is around the house sometimes, Tripper is a happy dog out on the trail...

Thank you Ian. Our girl, a Chow / Collie mix, turned 15 last November. Old age had been taking its toll on her for about the last year. It started with no longer being able to jump up on the bed to play, which she loved doing. Then it got harder and harder for her to get up and down the four steps on the back porch to go out into the yard. She also started losing her sight and hearing. Her last day she wasn't even able to stand under her own power. We kept her with us along as we were able, but time stops for no one.
She also left behind our male Chow, who sorely misses her company.
