My cat was more interested in the lens hood than getting a nice portrait.

Thanks for the feedback guys! Yeah, they really tore around the back yard last night, great fun to try to get some shots of them while they're at it. It's interesting to use the manual lens with CIF - I would say this combo is actually similar in action performance to an AF lens for this kind of action where the exposure isn't changing between shots and CIF keeps the misfocused shot count really low.

It rained last night, strangely. It doesn't usually rain in May. It wasn't enough to flood the park again, but it was enough for some mud puddles.

Gotta shake off afterwards, as close to people as possible.

Just a P&S shot this morning but this caught my eye when I was passing by with my morning coffee.

Bentley is getting older - will be 9 in August which is old for an English Mastiff. He hasn't been able to do stairs for almost a year now so can't get upstairs to sleep with us in the bedroom. I had this old mattress up in the barn loft for a few years and figured to use it for him since the critters will just end up destroying it out there anyway. The idea was to get him up off the hard floor to give his hips and joints some relief. He just loves it!

So here he is sleeping in this morning with the morning lights streaming through his window:

Taken with a Minolta MD 50mm 1.7 using some MD-PK adapter on my K-30.

A bit soft, I know. I'm having trouble with the diopter adjustments.
